As residential and light commercial AV installations increasingly embrace digital infrastructures, integrators require solutions that deliver uncompromising immersive performance without sacrificing installation efficiency. StormAudio answers this demand with the release Evo One, a fully digital immersive AV processor purpose-built for systems up to 16 channels.
Making its official debut at CEDIA Expo 2026 and already selected as a finalist in the CEDIA Smart Home Awards, EVO One brings the complete StormAudio experience to projects where space, efficiency and cost matter, without sacrificing processing power, audio quality or calibration capabilities.
Designed around a compact 1RU platform, EVO One combines a fully digital signal path, flexible connectivity and StormAudio’s renowned immersive processing to provide a futureready foundation for modern residential, marine and light commercial installations.
StormAudio Performance in a 1RU Footprint
While EVO One introduces a new fully digital platform, it remains unmistakably StormAudio at its core. Built on the same software architecture as the brand’s flagship processors, it delivers the intuitive user experience and robust processing capabilities that have made StormAudio an industry reference in immersive audio.
The processor supports all major formats, including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, Auro-3D, IMAX Enhanced, MPEG-H, and Sony 360 Reality Audio. Furthermore, HDMI 2.1 connectivity (4 inputs, 1 output with eARC) and full 8K/4K120 compatibility ensure seamless integration with today’s most advanced AV sources.
EVO One at a Glance
- Compact & Efficient: Featuring a compact 1RU design with optimized power consumption, it is ideal for installations where rack space, thermal management and system efficiency matter most.
- Scalable Architecture: Available in 8, 12 or 16-channel configurations via software licensing, EVO One allows each installation to be precisely right-sized. This architecture ensures flexibility at installation and the ability to evolve over time, without hardware replacement.
- Unmatched Flexibility: Its fully digital architecture combines simultaneous AES/EBU connectivity with a configurable Audio-over-IP interface. The AoIP port can operate as AES67 I/O, native Dante Input or native Dante Output depending on the installation, giving integrators the freedom to choose the digital workflow that best fits their requirements.
- Uncompromising Calibration: The processor includes the complete StormAudio Calibration Suite, combining Dirac Live Room Correction, Bass Control, Active Room Treatment (ART), and powerful manual optimization tools to deliver precise, consistent and immersive performance in every environment.
- Future-ready platform, Built to evolve alongside changing technology, featuring upgradeable channel counts and optional analog expansion via an upcoming AoIP Bridge (coming soon).
“EVO One reflects how immersive audio installations are evolving,” says Olivier Thumerel, CEO of StormAudio. “We wanted to create a processor that preserves everything integrators value about StormAudio while introducing a fully digital architecture optimized for more compact projects. EVO One is designed to make premium immersive performance accessible to more installations than ever.”
