Midrange Magic: The real reason Monitor Audio used 3″ drivers to improve speaker sound
Dispersion, which relates to how sound is projected from a loudspeaker in all directions, is one of the most important aspects of its performance. In this video, Doug and Michael discuss the company’s choice to use a very small midrange driver in many speaker models to improve dispersion in the midrange, as well as improve integration with the tweeter and woofer / woofers it is working with.
